Aaron impressed on visit

2014 forward Shaqquan Aaron was in attendance for the Washington game. Read on to see what he thought of the visit, where Arizona stands, and more.

Arizona may have lost on Saturday, but the atmosphere was enough to impress one of the best 2014 recruits in the country.

6-foot-8, 170-pound forward Shaqquan Aaron was in attendance for Saturday's game and came away impressed with what he saw.

"The visit was fun," Aaron said. "It was a great experience, the arena was crazy, the atmosphere was good, and it was a fun visit."

This was the first time that Aaron has had the opportunity to visit Arizona and he was able to experience the campus as a whole as well as getting to see the Wildcats up close.

"I took a tour of the facilities and everything was close together and new," he said. "I also talked to the coaching staff, which was great, and I enjoyed the style of play."

Speaking of the coaching staff, Aaron had an opportunity to sit down with Joe Pasternack and Sean Miller and discuss what his future would be like at Arizona.

"I talk to Pasternack the most out of all the coaches but I talked with Miller after the game," he said. "We talked about how I would fit in and what it means to be a part of the program and everything like that."

Aaron is hesitant to name any favorites, but does not hide the fact that Arizona certainly helped itself this weekend.

"I got to experience Arizona, so it is really on my top now because I got to see what it is about," Aaron said. "I have not gotten to see any other schools, so right now Arizona would be one of my top schools."

As of now, Aaron has a good idea of where he wants to visit next and is in no rush to make a final decision.

"I am planning to visit UConn soon, so I will try to make that work," Aaron said. "I will probably be able to make a decision my senior year."
