Receiver looking hard at Arizona

Demorea Stringfellow is seeing his recruitment take off. Read on for the latest on his offers, visit plans, and more.

Demorea Stringfellow is one of the best wide receivers in the country and has the stats and offer list to back it up.

The 6-foot-2 junior from Moreno Valley tore up the Southern California high school football scene and is looking for an even bigger senior season.

"We had a good year as a team," Stringfellow said. "I had like 46 catches and 16 touchdowns. I'm pretty happy with my season. The main goal is to win state next year and if I do my part everything should fall into place."

While he is looking forward to his senior year, Stringfellow is ready to take the next step in his recruitment

"I would like to make a decision soon, but I first need to go on my visits," Stringfellow said. "I don't really know which schools I will visit, but I'm going to sit down with my counselor and try to figure everything out."

Expect Arizona to be one of the schools Stringfellow takes a close look at.

"I've been talking with Arizona," Stringfellow said. "They recently offered me and want to get me out there. Arizona is interesting to me because one of my best friends (Terrence Miller) is on the team. Terrence is like a mentor to me. I've been friends with him since my freshman year.

"He's always giving me advice on how to get better and he is a good guy. He tells me a lot about the coaches and he'd be a fun guy to play with."

While Stringfellow is planning on taking all his visits, he could end his recruitment at any time.

"The plan is to take all the visits," Stringfellow said. "Like I said I'm not sure who I will visit, but I think I will know the place when I visit it. I wouldn't mind at all getting the decision out of the way."
