"I was just up at Washington," Stringfellow said. "The visit was fun. I got to check out the school a little bit, and I got to talk with the coaches about where I fit it and how they would get me the ball."
While Stringfellow has started visiting schools, his recruitment is just beginning.
"I don't have any plans at the moment to check out more schools," Stringfellow said. "I'm definitely going to take more visits, though. There are quite a few schools I'd like to check out.
"USC has been recruiting me more. They sent a coach out here just recently. Besides the LA schools, I'd like to check out Oregon, Florida, Ole Miss, Arizona State and Arizona. There are a lot of places I want to visit."
While UA faces an uphill climb to garner Stringfellow's commitment, the school has caught the wide receiver's attention.
"Arizona has been recruiting me for a while," Stringfellow said. "One of my best friends (Terrence Miller) goes there, and he has talked to me about the new situation.
"Coach Anae was up here last week and was just seeing how everything was going. I couldn't talk to him because of recruiting rules, but he has let me know they really want me to check out the place."
Don't expect Stringfellow to end the recruiting process anytime soon
"I can't say definitively when I would like to commit," Stringfellow said. "I want to make the best possible decision I can. That being said, I will probably take a lot of visits and make a decision once my senior season is over."
