Arizona staying consistent with Aaron

2014 forward Shaqquan Aaron is one of the best players in the country. Read on for his thoughts on Arizona, his decision, and more.

2014 forward Shaqquan Aaron may have sat out last season due to transfer rules, but he is back in basketball shape now and making an impact.

"I kept working out and just working hard," Aaron said. "I am trying to get the game feel back. I would say I am good now. At the start I was trying to get my quickness back and all that, but I am good now."

Recruiting certainly has not died down for Aaron, who says he has been hearing from the same schools that have been involved for a while now.

"Honestly, I am hearing from all of the same schools," he said. "There really are not a lot of new schools and it is the same schools that have been coming at me hard."

Aaron recently addressed a rumor that he would be committing to Arizona and although the Wildcats are in good shape, he says he wants to remain open to the process.

"Somebody put it out there that I was committing, but I just wanted to say that I am open and people should not pay attention to rumors," Aaron said.

Aaron will continue to go through the process and hopes to visit the schools that have been on him the longest.

"Arizona, UConn, and UNLV are recruiting me the hardest," he said. "With Arizona I have a good relationship. I went to a game there and it was a great atmosphere and I like Arizona a lot. I know I want to visit UConn soon as well."

One of the biggest decision Aaron has left to make his where he will play high school ball next season, something that he is not yet sure of.

"I am not sure where I will be going next year," Aaron said. "By the end of the summer I will definitely have a decision."
