Green is expected to add explosiveness out of the backfield and has been staying busy improving his skills.
"We've been in passing league recently and I have done pretty well," Green said. "I had eight touchdowns and I think our team got better, which we're trying to do a daily basis. We've gotten better running our plays, and I think it showed some here in passing camp.
"The main thing I'm working on right now is my leadership. I want to play intelligently, but also lead by example and try not to get too high or too low. "
Green can't wait to show off his improvement to the UA coach staff.
"I just want the staff to know I'm working hard," Green said. "I love so many things about the program, but the coaching staff is what really sticks out, though. They're all energetic and tough but engaging at the same time.
"I think the schemes they run are going to be very effective. Coach Rodriguez has things going in the right direction and I want to be a part of it."
Green says that he has not heard from as many schools since announcing he is headed to Arizona and is glas that he made his choice early.
"It's been a relief since making my commitment," he said. "I know where I'm going and I can already visualize it. Plus, it's easy to tell recruiters that I'm already committed and not interested."
Although Green is only entering his senior year of high school, he is already thinking about the next level.
"I can't wait to get to Tucson," Green said. "Going to college is the next phase in my life, academically and athletically. I'm going to work as hard as possible to contribute and really enjoy my time as a student-athlete."
