Arizona trying to make impression on Young

James Young has made no secret of the fact that Kentucky leads. Can Arizona move up? Will he visit? Read on for those answers and more.

It is no secret that Kentucky is the favorite for James Young, but he is not ready to end his recruitment just yet.

"Kentucky is the school to beat, but I want to give other schools a chance," Young said. "I am also looking at Michigan State, Arizona, Kansas, and Ohio State."

As far as Arizona goes, Young says that the UA coaching staff has done a good job of pitching the way that it runs its offense and how he would fit in.

"I like the way that Arizona likes to get out of transition," Young said. "Sean Miller has told me that he thinks I would fit in well and be able to score a lot of points at Arizona."

Young says that Kentucky stands out for numerous reasons, many of which match what he is looking for in a school.

"Coach Calipari is a great coach that helps his players, the team is already good, and I like the facilities that Kentucky has," Young said.

"I want to find a school that I feel comfortable at and that I know I will have a good chance to be successful at."

Arizona is trying its hardest to get in a good position to land Young and it all starts with a visit. At this point, Young believes that he will take the opportunity to see Arizona's campus.

"I definitely want to take some visits," Young said. "I will probably take my visits at the end of August. I will visit Kentucky and Kansas and then probably Arizona and the others.

"I will just be looking for a school that I know I want to be at. I think I will know where I want to go when I visit the campus."
