Jackson-Cartwright impressed with visit

Arizona hosted 2014 point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright on an unofficial visit this weekend. Read on to see where Arizona now stands, if he will visit again, and much more.

Arizona continues to host elite recruits and one that was on campus this weekend is 5-foot-7, 145-pound Los Angeles Loyola 2014 point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright.

"I really liked it," Jackson-Cartwright said. "I got to finally see the school and meet the coaches, so I had a really good time."

There were numerous aspects of the visit that stood out to Jackson-Cartwright, many of which go beyond basketball.

"We saw some of the facilities, which was nice because they look brand new," he said. "Everything in there is great with the weight room and everything else. We went over the academic side of things and my possible majors that I could take, which was pretty eye-opening. Pretty much all of those things stood out."

Jackson-Cartwright also says that Arizona believes he would be able to come in and fit right away.

"They told me that they like my style of play and how I play in general," Jackson-Cartwright said. "Sean Miller is really confident in me and they want me to come."

In terms of the next step, Jackson-Cartwright already has plans to visit Arizona again in the near future.

"School is about to start and I am scheduled to come back to Arizona for the Red and Blue game," he said. "Right now I am trying to get over a foot injury and get ready for the season."

While Jackson-Cartwright did not make a decision, he admits that Arizona helped itself a ton on the visit.

"It is a great place to be, but I just don't know yet right now," he said.
