Lee enjoys Arizona visit

Mauriece Lee has been an Arizona commit for a while now. Read on to see his thoughts on a recent visit, if he is solid to Arizona, and more.

Tempe (Ariz.) Marcos De Niza running back Mauriece Lee was one of the first players to commit to UA coach Rich Rodriguez and it's safe to say Lee isn't having second thoughts about his commitment.

"The coaching staff is great and I can't wait to get down there," Lee said. "I really enjoy talking to them because they're just regular people who really love football."

Lee was on hand for Arizona's victory over Oklahoma State and came away extremely impressed.

"The game was crazy," Lee said. "Everybody was going crazy. I thought we were going to lose when Oklahoma State scored those two quick touchdowns.

"We never gave up though and it was impressive to see Arizona score all those consecutive points against a good team. It looks like they're just getting started."

Lee has talked plenty with the coaching staff and has a good idea of how he will be used at Arizona.

"They want me to play running back, but they said I could also end up in the slot or other positions," Lee said. "Basically, they're just trying to get guys in space to make as many plays as possible. They also said they could use me on special teams, which I really enjoy."

Although Lee has already been to one game this season, it looks as if he could come to more in the future.

"They're fun to watch," Lee said. "The coaches really know how to get players in position to make plays and they're just getting started. It's going to be fun to continue to watch everyone grow and improve."

Lee is looking forward to college, but he is also making the most out of his senior year.

"The season is going well," Lee said. "I've rushed for a lot of yards and touchdowns and we're playing well as a team.

"The stats are nice, but the main goal is to win state. Then I will worry about the next level."
