The 2014 five-star player has long been an Arizona recruit and came away from the weekend impressed.
"It was a pretty good experience," Winslow said. "It was my first time really being able to see what Arizona is like during the week and during the actual school year. I got to see the guys and hang out with them and that is something I was not really able to do on my last two visits because one of them was in June when school was out and the other was in like February where I had to go to a game and then go home right after."
Winslow says that he was impressed with the overall feeling of the scrimmage as well as his opportunity to talk with Head Coach Sean Miller.
"It was a great atmosphere, probably one of the best in college basketball," Winslow said. "The game told me a lot about the fans and just the atmosphere in Tucson and how important it is to the campus and college.
"I talked with Sean Miller a little and he told me he really likes the way I play. He also said the way that they try to play an up tempo offense really fits me well and that he thinks Arizona would be the right place for me."
In terms of what his next step is, Winslow has a few more visits on his schedule before he will look at possibly narrowing things down.
"I am going to visit Florida and UCLA before my high school season starts and once that starts I will calm down my recruiting and probably will not go on any more visits," he said.
"I am looking to shorten my list down probably after these next few visits. Arizona definitely helped itself with the way their recruiting is going for me. I think it is a good school, but I don't have a top five or anything. I really like Arizona though and think it is a place I can fit in well."
As far as a final decision goes, Winslow is not in any rush to make one, but has a good idea of when it will come.
"Before my senior year would be a great time, but it will probably be this time next year," he said. "I think it will probably come down to the coach and somebody that can prepare me for the next level and push my teammates and I to win a championship."
