Bruno excited about future

Luca Bruno recently visited Arizona and came away impressed with his future school. Read on for his thoughts on the visit,

Although he already visited the University of Arizona, Oak Park (Calif.) defensive tackle Luca Bruno made it down to Tucson again this past weekend, meeting with the entire coaching staff and some future teammates.

"The visit went really well," Bruno said. "I finally got to meet all the coaches and I got to talk with some of the young defensive lineman.

"Meeting some of the other recruits was really cool too. The coaches talked about where we will fit in next season. They see me playing strongside defensive end, so I have to focus on my rushing and containment skills at the same time."

Bruno has been to Arizona before, so he did not see anything that surprised him. However, he was more glad to be able to talk with his future teammates.

"We went on a tour of the school, which was fun," Bruno said. "I've visited the school before, so I really didn't see anything I didn't know about. It was still fun, though, just envisioning being there next season.

"Being able to connect with some of my future teammates was fun. I don't know all of them really well, but I was still able to get acquainted with some of them."

Bruno is excited about his immediate future at the UA, but is also eagerly anticipating the completion of the new UA football facilities.

"I can't wait to see the new facilities when everything is finished," Bruno said. "The coaches say it will be terrific and a good addition, so that's something everybody is looking forward to."

Bruno is ready to begin the next phase of his football career.

"I'm completely committed to Arizona," Bruno said. "This visit was really good and it just re-enforced what I felt before, that I'm going to be an Arizona Wildcat.

"I'm going to work hard until I get there. I would like to come in and contribute as soon as possible and I'm just using that as motivation to work hard."
