Florida receiver wants to visit

Arizona was the first school to jump in for Roderick Proctor. Read on for his thoughts on the Wildcats, the recruiting process, and more.

Orlando Dr. Phillips junior wide receiver Roderick Proctor is all about football throughout the year.

"I'm playing football all the time right now," Proctor said. "I feel I'm really getting better and getting a better feel with the quarterback. Whether it's during the season or out of season I'm playing."

That dedication to improving and his already developed skills have led to colleges noticing Proctor more.

"I just got my first offer from Arizona and I'm really excited about it," Proctor said. "Louisville is also showing me a lot of interest. I'm hopeful that it's a sign that I'm getting more attention."

Proctor has started to develop a strong relationship with the Arizona coaching staff, which feels he would fit in well with the offense.

"Coach Lockwood from Arizona is recruiting me," Proctor said. "He seems like a good guy and is trying to inform me about the school.

"They like my quickness and they feel I would be a good fit in the spread offense they're trying to run. They want me to get down there soon and I certainly want to as well."

Arizona is not the only school that Proctor wants to visit, as he is planning to have a busy summer.

"I'm going to take a lot of visits this summer," Proctor said. "I'm going to visit Florida State, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Arizona and Texas. This summer is going to be one of the most important of my life.

"I've got a really big decision to make and I want to check out as many places as possible just so I can make a decision that at the end of the day I can live with."
