Florida athlete considering visit

Tajee Fullwood has the ability to play both sides of the ball. Read on to see why, which schools are recruiting him, and where Arizona stands.

Tampa (Fla.) Bay Tech 2014 athlete Tajee Fullwood is one of the most interesting players in the state of Florida because he is a legitimate prospect at wide receiver and cornerback.

He is likely to receive more recruiting attention in the coming months, but right now a few schools have piqued Fullwood's interest.

"The schools that stick out the most are Rutgers, Louisville and Arizona," Fullwood said. "I was just recently offered by the University of Arizona.

"They just talked to me about how they were impressed by my game and want me to check them out."

Fortunately for Arizona, Fullwood is ready to start looking at schools.

"Right now I'm going to go to Rutgers and Indiana and maybe Arizona," Fullwood says. "The main things I'm looking for in a school are a team that is committed to being competitive every day and just leaving everything on the field.

"I really want to take my game to the next level and I want to be in a focused environment where guy's priorities are in line."

In addition, Fullwood says that academics will play a role.

"Academically, I want to major in sports broadcasting or dentistry, so I would like to go to a school with good programs in those fields," he said.

Fullwood doesn't plan on making a quick commitment.

"I'm going to take a while to decide on a school because I want to go through the process and take as many visits as I need," Fullwood said. "The schools recruiting me are telling me good things and I want to hear what all of them have to say about their team.

"I'm kind of excited about the process because I'm not sure what to expect. Every school has a chance."
