"USF and Florida State are the schools that are at the top of the list right now," Harrell said. "They're both really good schools with good coaches and are close to home.
"However, I am open to others and I plan on visiting Tennessee, Vanderbilt Kentucky, Michigan State, Clemson, Arizona and some others."
The Arizona coaching staff is focused on Harrell despite the problems many recruiters experience trying to lure prospects out of Florida.
"The Arizona coaches actually just offered," Harrell said. "They think a lot of my skills from watching me on film and they said I have the type of physical skills to do well in their system and I'm interested to check them out."
Harrell plans on trusting his instincts when picking his future school.
"I think the visits will be very important for me because I think I will find out early on if I could see myself at each place," Harrell said.
"It will be an overall feeling. I'm not looking for anything in particular. I just want to blend into the team and just see what its like."
With so much to think about, Harrell intends to put off his decision until next year.
"I plan on waiting to make my decision" Harrell said. "I'm not waiting just to wait, this is a huge decision and I have to consider and look at everything, so I'm going to take as much time as possible because I've got a lot of schools to check out.
"It will probably be after the high school All-American games."
