Dickerson was in Tucson this past weekend and came away with a couple thoughts on the visit.
"The trip was great and I learned so much more about the school and the football program," Dickerson said. "Actually, the visit was unbelievable."
The three-star lineman enjoyed his visit in large part because he got to see so much.
"I got to tour the campus with like six coaches, including Coach Rodriguez," he said. "I met Coach Dudek and he was a really cool guy. I got to check out the academic departments, including the business school, which is really good.
"I also got to sit down with Rich Rod and break down tape for awhile, which was unbelievable. We really get along because we're all about football."
Dickerson is already familiar with the Arizona defensive scheme because his high school coach played for Rodriguez at West Virginia.
"Having my defensive line coach along with me was great because my coach played for Rich Rod at West Virginia," Dickerson said. "He and Coach Rodriguez get along really well and Coach Rodriguez said I have a leg up because he is running the same system now that he did when my coach played for him. It was just an unreal visit."
Although Dickerson really liked his visit, he wasn't ready to commit.
"Even if I wanted to commit I couldn't," Dickerson said. "I loved my visit to Arizona and enjoyed my visit to Washington, but my parents will have the final say. Wherever I want to go, they want to come down first and make sure it's a good fit for me.
"I think we are in agreement that it would be best for me to get the decision out of the way before my senior season starts."
