"The coaching staff is what really made me want to become a Wildcat," Wilson said. "Coach Rodriguez is great and he really made me feel comfortable, but I also really like all of the coaching staff.
"They all come from different backgrounds and different paths of life, so they can relate with about everyone."
Wilson plans on visiting his future school next month.
Wilson's commitment to Arizona hasn't deterred schools from pursuing him.
"I'm still getting stuff from various schools, but I'm solid to Arizona," Wilson said. "UCLA in particular has been coming after me pretty hard and they're a really good school, but I made up my mind a few months ago that I'm a Wildcat."
With his college decision out of the way, Wilson is thinking about the next phase of his football career.
"The main thing I'm focused on is adding weight," Wilson said. "I want to contribute early in college, if possible, but it's been a little difficult because I've been running track.
"I'm at about 195 right now, but my goal is to push that to about 210 by the time the season starts."
