Comanche plans to visit

Chance Comanche is one of the top big men in 2015. Read on to see his thoughts on Arizona, the recruiting process, and more.

Los Angeles View Park Preparatory center Chance Comanche is one of the best big men in 2015. The 6-11, 190-pound center is being recruited by numerous schools throughout the country and says that he is still working to improve.

"The summer has gone well," Comanche said. "I think I have played pretty good. I have mainly been working on mainly my post game, sealing my man off, boxing out, and rebounding."

Although Comanche is hearing from a variety of schools, he is quick to point to a handful of schools as the ones recruiting him the hardest.

"Recruiting is going pretty good so far," he said. "From what I have seen, USC, Georgetown, Arizona, and Oregon are the schools recruiting me the hardest."

As the four-star center talks to each school, he has a good idea of what he is looking for in a future college.

"My first focus is academics," Comanche said. "I also want to play for a school that likes to get its center the ball. I want to see if they play team ball or if they do a lot of one-on-one stuff."

Arizona is one of the schools hoping to make the correct pitch to Comanche and he says the Wildcats stand out for two reasons.

"Arizona tells me that they could use me in a lot of different ways," he said. "They also make sure I know about all the success they have had and the good things about the school."

Comanche does not have a strict timeline for when he wants to make a decision, but does know of at least one visit he will take.

"I am going to go to Arizona in August, but I don't have anything else planned," he said. "I am probably going to take my time and wait for a final decision."
