Arizona leads for lineman

Jabril Frazier visited Arizona this past weekend. Read on to see how that visit went, where his recruitment stands, and more.

Many observers feel Los Angeles (Calif.) Verbum Dei pass rusher Jabril Frazier is one of the more underrated prospects in California, and Rich Rodriguez has made the rangy defensive end a recruiting priority.

Frazier was one of many prospects on hand for the unveiling of the new facilities, and he came away impressed.

"Everything was done really well," Frazier said. "The coaches wanted to get as many players out there as possible for the red carpet event, and it's easy to see why.

"The difference in the facilities now is just incredible. The end zone project worked out great and everything they talked about was true."

Frazier's potential is particularly intriguing to the UA coaching staff.

"They think I can bring some flexibility to their team," Frazier said. "They like my frame and think I have the ability to put on more weight, but they also like that I can move really well.

"They're not completely sure how they would use me, but there are a lot of different possibilities."

The defensive athlete is set to visit another Pac-12 school and then a decision should come soon.

"I'm going out to Utah soon and then I think I could be ready to decide," Frazier said. "Arizona is my leader right now. I really had a great time. They showed me a lot of love and I could tell they really want me and they've already thought about how they would use me.

"I'm moving my decision date up and I think I could decide before the season starts."
