"I'm going to go to the school that is the best for me, but I'm noticing all the schools that have been on me from the beginning," Roberts said.
"The Arizona coaches have sent me a lot of stuff and they say they really like my game. It's something that I will look further into because it has some things I'm looking for."
It is early in Roberts' recruitment, but Arizona is going to have to compete with at least two schools.
"Right now the main schools for me are Oregon and Washington," Roberts said. "Both the schools are doing really good things right now and they have good coaching staffs and aren't that far away."
Although distance won't be a major factor in Roberts' decision, a school in close proximity will have an advantage.
"I will go to the best place for me, but it certainly doesn't hurt to be close to home because a lot of people from around here would be able to see me," he said.
More schools figure to get involved the longer Richards' recruitment plays out. "I get a lot of interest from a lot of schools," Roberts said.
"Most of them seem to like my frame and they think I have the ability to put on solid weight quickly.
"Plus I'm a hard worker who will do whatever it takes to win, and I think some of that comes across."
