"I have an offer from San Diego State and I'm getting interest from Arizona and California," Baker said. "I attended the Arizona vs. UCLA game and it was a lot of fun. I got to talk with the coaches and they said they are keeping an eye on me and I got the sense that if I work hard an offer will come.
"It's a school I really like, so that would be really cool to get an offer from them."
Above all, Baker's connection with the coaching staff will be a very important factor in his decision.
"I want to go to a place where I'm not just another player," Baker said. "I want to have a close relationship with the coach to the point where I can tell he's trying to win, but at the same time he has everyone's best interests at heart."
Early playing time will also be a consideration for Baker.
"If possible, I'd like for the school I attend to have a need at the receiver position," Baker said. "I'm not saying I don't want to compete, because that's not true. I just want to be at a place where I have a legitimate shot at playing as a freshman."
Baker believes his skills will translate to the college level.
"I'm certainly not a small guy and I have always felt I have an ability to get open," he said. "But I can always get better at running tighter patterns and getting out of my breaks and that is something I'm always working on."
