"I'm hearing from Arizona, Washington State, San Jose State and a few other schools," Parrick said. "This is all good because any school that is interested in me I want to give attention to.
"There is interest at getting me out there for visits and everything, but for right now it is kind of difficult money wise to get to every place I would like to get to."
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound lineman feels the training he is putting in right now will only advance his recruitment, allowing him to take several visits to quality schools.
"If I work hard I have a feeling I will be good to go," he said. "I've improved in a lot of areas over the past year or two. First thing I really tried to do was build my body up in the right way and I'm doing that through working out and trying to eat better stuff.
"Then focusing on everything on the football field from pad level to quick feet is always going to be priorities of mine. I really just want to do what it takes to make my team a better team."
Judging from his team's success, Parrick is doing his part.
"We had a really good season," Parrick said. "We went 13-1 and for almost every game we played to our strengths and we almost achieved everything. I think we'll be back and everybody will see another really good season and it will only help out everybody on the team."
