Fertitta plans to visit

Las Vegas Bishop Gorman safety Nicco Fertitta wants to visit Arizona. Read on to see what he says about the Wildcats, his overall recruitment, and more.

The Arizona coaching continues to hand out offers and Las Vegas Bishop Gorman junior safety Nicco Fertitta was on the receiving end of one of those offers.

"Anytime you get a new offer it is exciting and I'm really happy to get the offer," Fertitta said. "I wasn't able to talk with them in-depth or anything, but now that Arizona has offered they are on my list of places to trip to."

"When you play at a school like Bishop Gorman you are playing with a lot of really talented guys and the recruiters are always going to be around. I knew if I worked hard I could put myself in this position and now that I'm in it, it feels great."

Fertitta plans on visiting every school that offers him.

"If they are interested in me, I'm interested in them," he said. "Right now I have offers from Arizona, Notre Dame, Utah, Hawaii, Indiana and Villanova. With the exception of Hawaii, I plan on visiting all of those places."

As Fertitta goes through his recruitment, he knows what will go into making a decision.

"There is nothing I am really looking for when I go on visits," he said. "I just want to find a place where I feel comfortable and can go out and just play football. Obviously, I want to like the players in the program and the coach, especially a fast attacking system is something that I would like to play in. Academics will also play a factor."

"I'm going to major in business, so I have to find a place with a good business program. Once all those boxes are checked, I will commit. I would like to decide before the summer, if possible."
