"I got offered by Arizona Wednesday night," Alston said. "Coach Dews had a lot of good things to say to me. They like my speed and quickness and my ability to make big plays. Like every other school I'm going to look at them."
Arizona certainly is not the only schools recruiting Alston.
"I would say some of the schools recruiting me the hardest are Cal, Washington State, Arizona State and Oregon State," he said. "Those were good offers to get. They are Pac-12 and good teams."
Alston figures to get more attention in coming months.
"I have the Nike camp coming up and I think it can be a really good opportunity," he said. "I think with the offers I'm getting that I can make a pretty big impression. I feel my route running is getting better all the time."
Advancing his skill set isn't the only thing on Alston's mind, as he is planning to take some visits in the upcoming months.
"Arizona and Arizona State will be two visits that I want to take and then after that I'll figure some other visits out," Alston said. "I am really excited to see both those schools because they have good coaches and offenses."
Alston seems to be enjoying the recruiting process and doesn't plan on making a decision in the near future.
"I'm getting more contact from different schools and the more I play the more I think schools will notice how I keep improving," he said. "There isn't any rush to make a decision. There are a lot of good places to go and I want to look at any school that is looking at me."
