A closer look: Kyahva Tezino

Arizona may be the front runner for Kyahva Tezino. Read on to see our evaluation of him and watch his highlights as well.

Strengths: Kyahva Tezino is certainly a backer you don't find too often these days at such a young age.

He is elusive and has tremendous pursuit to the ball carrier. His early play recognition and explosive first step to the ball carrier are what make him stand out from the rest.

Tezino can drop back into coverage when needed and make plays through the air as well. His talent will make him flexible for any defensive scheme.

The linebacker is a clean, hard-hitting player that should continue to grab the attention of more schools over the next year.

Weaknesses: At 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, Tezino does not have the ideal frame and size for a Division I linebacker as of now.

Tezino is young, so by the time his freshman year comes around, he could be a couple inches taller. Adding on mass is crucial for his senior year of high school.

If Tezino is hoping to be recruited as a linebacker, adding 10-15 pounds would be ideal for his position.

Tezino has a huge upside and would contribute immediately to Jeff Casteel's 3-3-5 scheme if he chooses to attend Arizona. Tezino has already received offers from reputable programs such as Miami, UCLA, and ASU, among others.

Rated a four-star recruit, Tezino can only get better over the next year and should be bringing in more offers as time passes.
