The next Floridian he is looking to reel in is Cape Coral (Fla.) Island Coast 2015 defensive end Marlon Gonzalez.
It won't be easy because Gonzalez is being pursued by schools from across the country, but that will not discourage Rich Rodriguez.
"Arizona is one of my top schools, along with Tennessee and Alabama," Gonzalez said. "The problem with Arizona is that it's so far away that I can't just trip to a camp or something.
"I will have to wait to take an official visit. I've liked everything I've heard though, so I will look hard at them."
Gonzalez figures to be a busy man this summer.
"I'm going to team camps throughout the southeast," he said. "Places like Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee and then after that I plan on going up to visit schools in the Carolina region.
"Anywhere close to home with a good program that is interested in me I hope to visit."
Although Gonzalez is going to these camps looking to improve, he is also looking closely at each place as a possible destination.
"That is a big reason I am going to so many places close to home, because I want to see how the coaches work and how they would see me in their system," Gonzalez said.
"Again, I am open to traveling for college, but I just can't afford to take unofficial visits to places across the country."
