Khaylan Thomas: The Wildcats are in good shape for Thomas, but he seems intent on taking his time throughout the process.
"They always are contacting me," he said. "They say a lot of stuff like the other coaches do, but they are obviously really interested in me."
It is possible that Thomas decides before taking all of his five official visits, but it is hard to ignore the fact that he has been consistent when describing how his recruitment will play out. Still, we expect Arizona to be right there when Thomas does decide to end his recruitment.
Kyahva Tezino: At this point, Arizona probably leads for Tezino and he is another player that still wants to take his visits before ending his recruitment.
"Jamardre and the guys recruit me every day and almost every time they see me," Tezino said. "They just want to know where I want to go and they are telling me everything about Arizona."
Arizona, Washington, and California will get visits and it is possible Tezino will decide after that. Considering he says he wants to be comfortable at his future school, you have to think Arizona has a good shot here.
Ben Humphreys: Arizona likes Humphreys as a linebacker, but he is actually going to be moving to safety for his senior season. At this point, he is pretty open in his recruitment, although there are two schools in good shape to get visits.
"I'll cut my list to five in August and Washington and Duke will for sure make the cut,” he said. “I don’t know about the other three spots yet. I’m going to take at least two official visits and I'll see where things are at after those. If new schools come in I could take a few more trips so I’m just going to play it by ear."
Arizona will continue to work to get Humphreys on campus and if it does that, the chances of landing him increase dramatically.
Arthur McGinnis: Arizona recently made McGinnis’ top ten and the Wildcats seem to be in decent shape here.
"Coach Magee is recruiting me," McGinnis said. "He's a good dude. He has a lot of interesting things to say and he's working on trying to get me down there for a visit. We talk often and I'm guessing I will know what the plan is here soon."
Arizona is in solid shape for an official visit and McGinnis won’t decide until his season is over, so this one still has plenty of time left.
Dedrick Young: There are numerous schools fighting for Young and he is getting close to narrowing down his list.
"I think either late July or early August, I'll come up with a top 5-6," said Young. "I'm still pretty wide open, but I'm going to relax for the next couple of weeks."
Arizona has picked it up with Young as of late and he is certainly a priority. However, UCLA and a few others have been on him hard and seem to be in good shape. It won’t be easy to land Young, but Arizona is definitely working for it.
