Albert looking at options

Arizona has offered JC corner Antoine Albert. Read on for an update on his recruitment and more.

Arizona has been loading up on 2015 commitments and one of the remaining top targets is Pleasant Hill (Calif.) Diablo Valley Community College cornerback Antoine Albert.

“Right now I’ve got visits set up to Oregon State and Iowa State,” Albert said. “They’ve been on me for quite awhile. Both sides think that I can come in and play early.

"It will be good to go on the visits fairly close to each other. That way I will be able to look at and give each a fair comparison.”

Although it hasn’t been scheduled yet, Arizona is in line to get a visit from Albert.

“Oh yeah, they’re up on my list as well," Albert said. "They’ve been there for some time. They like my speed and my ball skills and believe there will be time available because they lose quite a few guys after this season.

"They’ve told me they think I would really enjoy my trip and that it’s just a family-type environment down there. I look forward to it.”

Albert claims no leaders at this point.

“I really want to give each visit an equal try, so I don’t want to go anywhere with any ideas before I visit," he said.

After Albert completes his visits, look for him to make a quick decision.

“Once I have all the information I need I’m going to sit down and make a decision," Albert said. "I would like to decide as soon as possible just so I can get everything in a row before I go to school.”
