Leaf enjoys visit

2016 forward T.J. Leaf took an unofficial visit to Arizona on Wednesday. Read on for his thoughts on the visit, what's next, and more.

With Arizona looking to put the finishing touches on one of the best classes in school history, it is never too early to look to the next recruiting class.

One of the top 2016 targets is El Cajon (Calif.) Foothills Christian power forward T.J. Leaf.

Leaf is considered one of the more versatile forwards in his class and the five-star recruit was in Tucson for an unofficial visit on Wednesday.

“The coaches said they could see me as a three or a four," Leaf said. "They talked to me about my versatility and how they felt I could play numerous positions."

In addition to talking to the coaches, Leaf was also able to spend time with some current players.

"I met a few of the guys and talked to them about playing here," Leaf said. "I hung out with Stanley a bit and he is a cool dude. Obviously, he is a great player also."

While it’s obviously early in his recruitment, Leaf knows what his next step is.

“I’m going to Florida on October 10 and Duke October 25," he said. "I will make a decision when the time is right, but it is probably going to come before the next club season."
