The end result may not matter much, but the Red team beat the Blue 53-46 on Saturday.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson scored the first basket of the game for the Red and followed with two free-throws. Dusan Ristic got the Blue on the board before Craig Victor and Kadeem Allen scored for Red. Brandon Ashley then made two free-throws for Red, which led 10-2 early.
Ristic then proceeded to hit two more hook shots in the lane to bring the Blue squad within four. Stanley Johnson made a shot, but Kaleb Tarczewski had a three-point play. Hollis-Jefferson then scored and Johnson added a basket before Hollis-Jefferson added another one.
Victor and Ashley exchanged buckets before Ristic scored again and the Red team went into the half up 26-16.
Victor and Johnson proceeded to score and Victor got another basket. Hollis-Jefferson scored five consecutive points before Matt Korcheck got on the board. After a basket by Johnson, Victor scored and Parker Jackson-Cartwright scored his first points as Red led Blue 35-26 with 7:43 left.
Gabe York and Tarczewski exchanged a pair of free-throws each before Ristic scored. Victor and Ristic then both scored again and Ristic got on the board one more time. Johnson and McConnell exchanged baskets and Ristic added another jump hook to bring the score to 43-34 in favor of Red with 3:53 left.
Tarczewski and York exchanged baskets before Tarczewski scored again. Ashley proceeded to score and Allen added two free-throws. Ashley made a three to cut the Red lead to four with about a minute left, but a McConnell three-point play sealed the win.
