Arizona Football Recruiting Trend Meter

With only a few weeks until Signing Day, numerous recruits are getting close to making a decision. Read on to see how those recruits are currently trending in their decisions.

Joseph Wicker, DE, Long Beach Poly
Arizona hosted Wicker on a visit and is still hoping to land him. UCLA and Arizona State seem to be the two schools in front as of now. There is a chance that Arizona makes up some ground if the Bruins land Benning Potoae before. Our guess is Wicker commits on his visit to UCLA January 23.

Dechaun Holiday, DB, San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills
Holiday and Arizona have not been mentioned together for a while now, but the coaching staff is trying to get him on a visit. It will have to happen the weekend of January 23, as he visits Arizona State this weekend and UCLA the weekend of the 30th. Our guess is he winds up at UCLA.

Gabe Reid, LB, Provo (Utah) Timpview
It is likely between Stanford and Arizona for Reid. If Arizona can get Reid on campus, this one is trending up. If not, it would be a surprise if he winds up anywhere but Stanford. As of now, Arizona is holding steady with him.

Arthur McGinnis, LB, New Orleans Warren Easton Charter
McGinnis will visit Arizona this weekend and there is a chance for a commitment. Although he wants to take another visit or two, McGinnis admits that Arizona has what he is looking for. Signing are currently pointing to Arizona going into the weekend.

Darrell Clark, WR, New Orleans Warren Easton Charter
Clark will also visit Arizona this weekend and the Wildcats are gaining steam in the recruitment. Like his teammate McGinnis, Clark is looking at the possibility of taking more visits before Signing Day. However, Arizona has positioned itself nicely going into the final few weeks.

Marlon Gonzalez, DL, Cape Coral (Fla.) North Fort Myers
Arizona has been sticking around with Gonzalez and is in position to get an official visit if it wants it. There are a few factors that go into whether or not he will take that visit, but should he get to campus, Arizona has a shot. Louisville is likely the favorite going into the weekend.

Travis Custis, RB, Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College
Custis isn’t necessarily a serious option right now, but he could quickly become one. His goal is sot take a few officials and then make a decision. Arizona is in line to get one of those visits if it decides it wants another running back .
