Arizona has already received quite a few commitments from some of Louisiana’s better players, but the Arizona staff isn’t done yet.
“I’m going to Arizona on Friday with my boy Arthur,” Clark said. “Arizona has been on us for awhile and they seem like the kind of school that we could both play for.
"They have a lot of guys from our area coming in and the coaches say there is a real opportunity for us to play early. I want to look closely at their receivers and defensive backs because those are the positions that I’m being recruited at by Arizona."
As Clark looks at his options, playing time will play a major role.
“Campus life and stuff like that will matter, but the main thing is I want to play as early as possible, and I know Arthur feels the same way," he said.
Arizona isn't the only option for Clark.
“Miami is recruiting me pretty hard as a receiver," he said. "I haven’t been there yet, but anytime Miami tells you that they are interested in you, you have to listen.
“I will be going to Southern Miss the week after Arizona. I don’t know a ton about the program and the visit will show me more.”
If everything goes well, Clark might not make it to the Southern Miss visit.
“I’m going into these visits looking for the right fit, and, if I can find that, I will commit," Clark said.
"I don’t know when that will be, but as soon as I’m ready I will pull the trigger. It’s all about comfort for me and being able to have some of my questions answered.”
