Arizona’s quest to dominate New Orleans recruiting was in high gear this past weekend as Warren Easton High School 2015 teammates Darrell Clark and Arthur McGinnis were on campus taking in the University scene.
Similar to McGinnis, Clark seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed his time in Tucson.
“The visit went well,” Clark said. “It was cool to see where they think that I can play. The coaches like me as a wide receiver.
"They want guys who can come in and get in and out of their cuts while not losing speed. They have some guys who are going to be older and there are a lot of guys who are in and out."
Clark has not done much traveling, so seeing Tucson was a new experience for him.
"I had never been all the way out to a place like that," he said. "It was different for sure, because Tucson isn’t the same as New Orleans. That’s not a bad thing because the visit was really good.”
"Like McGinnis, Clark doesn’t plan to make a commitment before making his other visits.
“The coaches, players and everybody were really cool," Clark said. "I just want to see and compare it to Southern Miss. Who knows what could happen at any time, but I don’t quite feel ready to make a decision.
"I also have Miami coming to talk to me this week. I still have all this stuff going on, but the time is almost there. You’ll be hearing something not too long from now.”
