Signing Day Awards: Most Underrated

Arizona has made a living out of offering under the radar players. Read on to see who each staff member of WildcatAuthority.com thinks the most underrated is.

Michael Luke: If Demetrius Flannigan hadn’t spent the last 3 seasons hop scotching from one high school to the next, he would likely garner a high three or low four star rating.

He is that talented and with Cam Denson could potentially form a devastating all-Tucson cornerback duo.

Cody James Martin: One of the more underrated players in the class is Anthony Mariscal. He is a guy who may not play immediately, but has the body and football knowledge to develop into a solid player down the line.

Mariscal reminds me of Will Parks as a guy who could put in a summer's worth of work after his freshman year and come back ready to compete for a starting spot.

Jason Scheer: Timmy Hamilton is a player that Arizona wanted even before he was in junior college. He will have to be able to contribute right away or risk being buried on the depth chart, but I think Hamilton has that ability.

He is fast off the edge and could be the type of speed rusher that Arizona has been missing on the defensive line. Hamilton got attention from other schools later on in the process, but nothing really materialized because of his commitment to Arizona.
