Jalen Hill, a 6-foot-9 post from Corona (Calif.) Centennial, has cemented his name as one of the best players in 2017.
The sophomore center has a solid frame, defensive upside and a motor that coaches admire.
"Jalen's recruitment has seen an increase in activity," Jalen's father George said. "He has a lot of offers and to have them at such a young age is an honor and good motivation for him."
Arizona recently offer and the Wildcats have made a solid early impression.
"His latest offer is from Arizona," George said. "We were very excited, it's pretty big and for Sean Miller to do it himself is a great honor, and it shows Jalen that hard work truly pays off."
Hill's focus will now turn to summer basketball and working toward a spot on the USA travel team.
"Jalen was excited when he found out he made the USA team," he said. "It's a great opportunity, but we know he still has to earn his spot on the travel team and make it to Argentina.
"We're looking forward to the challenge. It's a process and being a big recruit doesn't secure you a spot."
The four-star prospect has not released a list of schools yet, but it seems that he's starting to narrow the scope of his recruitment.
"As far as favorites go, I'm not sure if Jalen is ready to release that," George said. "There are some schools that he's interested in, though.
"We plan to get a couple visit done in June, but it depends if he makes the trip to Argentina. If he does, it'll be later in the month."
