Draft Profile: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

As Rondae Hollis-Jefferson gets closer to being drafted, we look at his strengths and weaknesses according to one NBA scout.

With the NBA Draft quickly approaching, organizations are inviting prospects to pre-draft workouts to further evaluate their talents.

Former Arizona forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has pretty much secured himself a first round selection, and the only question is where the Chester, PA native will land.

Several NBA scouts have said they envision Hollis-Jefferson being called anywhere from the end of the lottery to No. 27 to the Los Angeles Lakers.

"With such a gap between his draft range, it is important that he performs well in his pre-draft workouts," an Eastern Conference scout said.

"He'll hear his name called, when it happens doesn't matter, but certainty is always better than uncertainty."

Wherever Hollis-Jefferson lands, one team will be walking away with a defensive ace.

Here is a pre-draft breakdown:

NBA postion: SF

Height: 6-foot-7

Weight: 211 pounds

Strengths

1) Can play above the rim

2) Defense

3) Hustle

4) 7-foot-2 wingspan

Weaknesses

1) Shooting

2) Ball Handling

3) Tempo

Scout's outlook:

"Hollis-Jefferson is someone our organization has on the big board. He's a hard worker, rarely gets out-hustled and will willingly defend multiple positions. You can't coach that.

"Not everyone is meant to be a prolific scorer, every team needs a versatile lockdown defender and that's his key to a long career."
