After a stellar junior season, four-star center De'Ron Davis has seen an increase in his recruitment activity.
The multifaceted Aurora (Co.) Overland prospect is looking to build off last year and work toward becoming a better all around talent.
"Everything with my recruitment has been great," Davis said. "There are some new schools involved with me also.
"The summer period is always a great time to expand your game. My scrimmage against the USA team went well. I was able to see where I am as a player and I definitely walked away a better player.
Davis currently holds offers from a strong list of programs.
"Texas is coming at me pretty hard," he said. "Indiana and I went through a little bit of a dead period, but they're in contact again.
"Arizona, Arizona State, UConn and Arkansas are also some of the other schools that are really after me."
In regards to Arizona, Davis had a close relationship with former assistant Damon Stoudamire, but since his departure, the young Colorado native is working on formulating a strong bond with Sean Miller.
"My recruitment with Arizona has been great," Davis said. "They have a great program and are one of the schools thats been after me the hardest.
"I was pretty close with Coach Stoudamire, but he left and now I'm in frequent contact with Coach Miller. He's been helpful and he was the coach for the USA team, so we've been communicating."
There is no time frame on a commitment, but Davis has an idea of when he would like to narrow his list.
"I'm not really set on any visit dates yet," he said. "I think when I release my list of schools I will schedule official visits."I have some ideas, but there is still a lot up in the air right now. I do want to have a final list by the end of July, though."
