Earlier this month, Honolulu Kaiser offensive lineman Michael Eletise narrowed his list down to five favorites.
"In no order, it's Arizona State, Arizona, Washington, Nebraska, and Ole Miss,” Eletise said.
Fast forward to today and Eletise will now end his recruitment. Sources believe that he is down to the Arizona school and Washington with the four-star’s recruitment being too close to call.
Arizona has been right in the thick of things for quite a while now, as the coaching staff has developed a strong relationship with Eletise.
“The coaches are all nice,” Eletise said. “They have a good academic program for the athletes and a lot of help for them."
Arizona State has appealed to Eletise’s faith in hopes of landing him.
"I love Chris Thomsen,” Eletise said. “He's a good coach. He's a Christian and he talks to me about his faith and that's a big part of my decision."
Lastly, Eletise recently visited Washington and seemingly came away impressed.
“I really like Seattle and everyone was friendly and I got a good vibe there,” he said. “I really got along with Coach (Chris) Petersen and Coach (Chris) Strausser and even the people who were just taking us around the campus.”
No matter where Eletise lands, that school will be adding one of the best offensive linemen in the country.
