"I feel really good going into my second year," Wilson said. "I feel like I just got here, but I am real happy with where I am at right now.
"I am very healthy right now. I don’t have any major bruises yet or anything, but I’m sure those will come in time."
In order to stay healthy, Wilson has put on some pounds.
"I am a little bigger," he said. "I am around 210 now. I feel real good and I can move around with that weight now.
"I wanted to put on more weight so I could be more durable, but I felt I was trying to do everything and be real physical at 190. I feel a lot better at 210 because I can take on blocks and just run through guys with a lot more speed and velocity."
Although Wilson missed the spring in order to stay healthy, it wasn't a complete waste.
"I wanted to be out there so I could master the plays a little more and get myself more familiar," he said.
"All spring it was kind of more the mental game and resting. Now I am happy to be back out here."
As good as Wilson was last season, there is always room for improvement.
"Definitely pass blocking," Wilson said. "That’s not something I necessary shy away from, but at the same time I can improve a lot more.
"I always say what happens happens. I am going to do everything to the best of my ability and if it is better, it’s better. If not, it’s not. Then I can improve from there.
