Video: Davonte' Neal on success at corner

The Arizona corner discusses his move from offense, learning the position, and more.

Despite playing wide receiver last season, Davonte' Neal has made a relatively easy transition to the defensive side of the ball.

"I love defense," Neal said. "I played defense in high school as well as receiver in high school.

"Jumping back on the defensive side was definitely a plus for me. I like hitting and I like being physical. Definitely on defense you can do that."

There were plenty of people that believed that Neal was actually a better cornerback coming out of high school and after disappointing a bit last season, he is hoping the move to corner succeeds.

"I can be more physical and tenacious on defense," Neal said. "Offensive is a different kind of style.

"You have to kind of slow it down a little bit just so everybody works together where on defense you pretty much go your own pace and you can go full speed every play."
