The best play of Saturday's scrimmage may have been a 50-yard touchdown pass fron Anu Solomon to Nate Phillips. For Arizona fans and the entire team, the hope is that is a sign to come after Phillips missed the majority of last season with an injury.
“Nate has been consistent all camp," Rich Rodriguez said. "He is a veteran guy who knows what we are doing.
"We have some veteran receivers and a little experience at quarterback now, so those guys did some good stuff today."
Phillips and Solomon continue to develop a chemistry that the wide receiver already feels is strong.
"It feels good to be back out on the field," Phillips said. "The coaches have worked with me on some of my individual stuff. Going live after last year feels good. It has been good getting connected with the offense again. We have a lot of chemistry this year."
