Arizona's nightmare scenario occured in the first quarter of a 42-32 win over UTSA on Thursday as Scooby Wright went out in the first quarter with a knee injury.
Wright tried to return, but went back out after one play. He was seen in street clothes in the second half and needed a cane to get around.
After the game, Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez did not give much insight into the injury.
"I don't think it's bad -- MCL, ACL, whatever -- but I don't want to speculate," Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez said. "We'll see what happens."
Wright received a MRI on Thursday night, but Arizona has a policy to stay relatively quiet on injuries.
