WildcatAuthority.com picks the winner of Arizona vs. UCLA

Arizona faces UCLA on Saturday and WildcatAuthority.com makes its picks.

Michael Luke: This game comes down to one thing: Arizona's ability to stop running back Paul Perkins.

The Arizona defense hasn't faced anything even remotely close to the physicality of the UCLA offensive line and Perkins, who has an innate ability to set up his blockers, figures to have his way with the Arizona defense.

This figures to set Josh Rosen up with some big play opportunities over the top. Arizona's offense struggled mightily against UCLA last season.

It will likely play better, but I doubt they can score enough points. Look for UCLA to limit Arizona's offense just enough to sneak out of Tucson with a victory.

UCLA 27, Arizona 20

Overall: 3-0

Cody James Martin: I know UCLA is hurting right now defensively, but there is a ton of talent on the Bruins' roster. Myles Jack is a huge loss due to his versatility and that he has manhandled Arizona the past few years, but there are several solid replacements behind him.

Ismael Adams is back for the secondary and he makes up for some of their injuries there as well. Overall, I think UCLA is still a more talented team.

With that being said, Arizona is a great team at home. ESPN's College GameDay is in town and Rich Rodriguez seems to want this badly. Arizona and UCLA will both have trouble defensively and both will be able to score points. This one could come down to special teams and I have to give the advantage to UCLA there.

UCLA 38, Arizona 35

Overall: 3-0

Jason Scheer: I have leaned to UCLA the entire week and although it is probably a mistake, I am switching my prediction to Arizona.

I've heard a lot about schedule arguments and how Arizona hasn't played anybody, but it's not like BYU is a top ten team and that win came at the Rose Bowl. This isn't Las Vegas and a UNLV game, which has one of the worst atmospheres I have ever seen.

Instead, this will be the most difficult environment that Josh Rosen has seen all season. I do think Paul Perkins gets his yardage, but it is just difficult for me to believe that Rosen isn't going to go on the road against a 3-3-5 defense in a hostile environment and not make mistakes.

I think he makes one too many, Nick Wilson has a better game than some may expect, and Arizona wins with a late field goal.

Arizona 31, UCLA 28

Overall: 3-0
