We take a look at how Arizona commits performed this weekend

Numerous Arizona commits put together impressive performances this past weekend.

Jake Burton: There wasn’t much Burton didn’t do in a 41-6 win over Hoover. He totaled nine tackles, including one sack and two others for loss. In addition, Burton had a 36-yard fumble recovery.

London Iakopo: Once again, Iakopo shined on special teams. He blocked two kicks and added three tackles, one of which was for a loss. His Long Beach City College squad defeated L.A. Harbor 32-27.

Sean Riley: In a 54-6 win over Paramount, Riley ran 11 times for 93 yards and a touchdown. He also added three catches for 17 yards.

Devaughn Cooper: The wide receiver commit caught three passes for 53 yards and a touchdown in the win over Paramount.

Gavin Robertson: A safety commit, Robertson finished with eight tackles, 1.5 for a loss, in a 31-12 loss to Sumner.

Isaiah Hayes: Hayes put together an impressive game in a 13-10 win over Rio Mesa. He finished with 12 tackles, two interceptions, and a pass deflection.

Devon Modster: Arizona’s quarterback commit had his three straight 300-yard game in a row, this time throwing for 307 yards in a 45-31 win over Corona del Mar. He also rushed for 45 yards and two touchdowns. Not only that, but Modster had to play corner because of injuries and picked up a tackle late in the game.

Khalil Tate: In a 35-17 win over Loyola, Tate was once again dominant. He finished 7-15 passing for 68 yards and one touchdown and interception. However, he added 175 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. 

Justin Holt: Salpointe continues to struggle, this time losing to Skyline 21-11. Holt finished with five tackles in the loss.
