A closer look at how Arizona commits performed

We take a look at how Arizona's football commits performed this past weekend.

London Iakopo: Iakopo’s season came to an end on Saturday with a 43-17 loss to Saddleback Community College. He finished with a game high 14 tackles, including a tackle for loss and forced fumble.

Devaughn Cooper: In a 42-0 win over Dorsey, Cooper caught five passes for 146 yards and a touchdown.

Sean Riley: Cooper’s teammate, Riley had nine carries for 87 yards and two touchdowns. He also added two receptions for 39 yards. 

J.J. Taylor: Taylor’s ridiculous season continued with a 42-36 win over Mater Dei. The three-star commit ran 28 times for 219 yards and a touchdown. In addition, Centennial used him as a rush end on a handful of downs and he came up with a sack. 

Isaiah Hayes: In a 41-17 win over Redondo Union, Hayes 

Russell Halimon: In what’s become a pattern, Halimon’s season ended with a torn ACL. Still, he rushed 205 times for 1,543 yards and 13 touchdowns. 

Tyler Raynor: Imhotep came up with a20-14 win Saturday night against seven-time defending champ Archbishop Wood in the PIAA District 12 Class AAA title game. Raymor ran for 86 yards on 18 attempts. 

Markell Utsey: The defensive lineman failed to make the playoffs, but finished with 60 tackles, 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 5 tackles for loss, and 1 passed deflection.
