Quick and versatile, Temecula (Calif.) Linfield Christian 2016 cornerback Lorenzo Burns is the kind of player who would interest most schools.
“Arizona got involved with me awhile back and they have just taken off from here," Burns said. "They want me to go to Arizona. I just took a visit to Arizona and it went well.
"It gave me a lot of things to think about because they have a plan on how they would use me and it’s a good team to begin with. The coaches are cool. I also still have the Colorado visit coming up.”
Burns believes he can contribute quickly at the next level.
“I feel I can help teams in a bunch of different ways, mainly because I can do a lot of different things on the field," he said. "I’m good with the ball and I can also cover other players.
"From early on when I started playing football I was able to do a lot of good stuff and the better I got the more I wanted to get better.”
The three-star athlete knows what he is looking for in a school.
“I want to find a place where everyone isn’t necessarily concerned about playing time, but fitting into a system where everyone is working towards the same goal trying to win every game and win the right way," Burns said.
“I’m going to make a decision here pretty quickly. I just need to get all the visits in and process what I’ve seen and heard.”
