Chula Vista (Calif.) Mater Dei 2018 forward Miles Norris is one the top prospects in his class and a player than many of the top programs in the country figure to offer at some point.
Arizona just became one of the first major programs to offer Norris and it looks as if it will lead to a visit.
“I haven talked with the Arizona coaches, but my parents did and the coaches offered me a scholarship,” Norris said. “Anytime you get a scholarship offer, it’s a really good thing.
"Arizona is going to get a lot attention from me. I’m going to visit Arizona, I believe, on January 30th.”
Although he is already a solid player, Norris isn’t content with his basketball skills.
“I know that I have a lot of stuff to get better at," he said. "I’m trying to get stronger, but I think the things I do pretty well are guard a bunch of different guys with my length and I can move well too.
"My shot has gotten better over the years, too. The main thing I try to do is take all that hard work that I put in during the offseason and bring that into the games.”
Norris figures to take his time with his recruitment.
“I’m still trying to figure out the whole process," he said. "The other visit I went on was to California. That was a fun visit and I got to see a little bit more of what college basketball is really like, but there are a lot of schools that I hope to visit.”
