In what can only be described as a strange recruitment, Arizona has landed five-star guard Kobi Simmons.
It recently appeared that the 6-foot-5, 170-pound Alpharetta (Ga.) St. Francis guard would decide between UNLV, Kentucky, and Ohio State.
However, the firing of Dave Rice changed everything and Simmons decided to put Arizona back in his top three.
It appeared that Arizona strengthened its position right away and the Wildcats soon became the favorites in the recruitment.
Although Simmons has not yet visited Arizona, he decided it has everything he wants in a school.
"How comfortable I am, the environment, definitely the style of play,” Simmons said of what he wants in a school.
“How comfortable I am with the players and coaches. The academics. Everything. Just how comfortable I am overall with things.”
