There have been rumors for months now about the recruitment of 2016 Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne wide receiver and UA commitment Devaughn Cooper.
According to Cooper, the worries are for naught.
“I’m still committed to Arizona,” Cooper said. “They have been awesome to me from the beginning and they have always told me how much they want me to come there and play the wide receiver position."
Cooper believes that the future of Arizona's offense is bright.
"They play so many wide receivers that even if there are some good guys in front of you, there still are other receiver positions that I will be able to play," he said. "Plus, there are young quarterbacks there and another guy coming in, so the talent will be around me.”
The three-star wide receiver seems to be resolute in his allegiance to Arizona.
“Again, I’m still committed to Arizona," Cooper said. "The reasons that I first committed haven’t changed at all. The offensive coaches are still there and the scheme is the same.
“Now, I’ve gotten some more offers and I’m still being recruited by other schools, but I don’t have any other visits ready to go.”
Cooper expects to make an immediate impact at the next level.
“I make plays," he said. "That’s what I do. Our team did do amazing things this season and we got to where every other team wants to get to.
"When I get into college I want to get on the field as quickly as possible and make some plays.”
