The streak is over.
Oregon defeated Arizona 83-75 at McKale on Thursday to end the McKale winning streak at 49 games.
Kadeem Allen and Casey Benson exchanged baskets to start the game. Gabe York then made a three and Ryan Anderson scored.
Anderson picked up a three-point play before Elgin Cook made a jumper. Anderson then scored again and Dillon Brooks responded with a three.
A bucket by Kaleb Tarczewski and York proceeded to put the Wildcats up 16-7 at the media timeout.
York made a shot and Cook hit two from the line followed by a basket. Anderson made one free-throw and Allen got in the lane for a basket.
Brooks scored, but Anderson did as well and a three by Parker Jackson-Cartwright forced timeout with Arizona up 26-13 with 11:22 left in the half.
Dwayne Benjamin made a three and Tarczewski then scored. Benjamin then made another three and Tarczewski responded again.
Brooks and Tyler Dorsey proceeded to scored to cut Arizona’s leas to 30-23 with 7:35 remaining in the first half.
Dorsey got a three-point play and Anderson and York both scored. Brooks then did the same, as Anderson hit a free-throw.
A basket by Dorsey proceeded to cut Arizona’s lead to 35-30 with just under five minutes left in the half.
Roman Sorkin got on the board and Allen responded with two free-throws. Cook then scored, but Anderson got a three-point play.
Cook scored again and Tarczewski made two free-throws. Benson then made a three and a shot by Dorsey had Arizona leading 42-41 at the half.
Brooks hit a free-throw to start the half, but Anderson and Mark Tollefsen scored. Boucher then got a dunk, Brooks scored and Cook hit a three to put the Ducks up 49-46 and force a timeout.
Benjamin made a three and Ristic and Boucher followed with a basket each. Allen then scored and made one free-throw soon after.
Benjamin made one of two from the line and York made a three. A shot by Brooks then put the Ducks up 57-54 with 11:11 left.
Ristic made two free-throws, but Jordan Bell got it right back. Brooks then scored and Ristic made one from the line.
Tollefsen added two free-throws of his own before Dorsey scored. Two free-throws from Tarczewski then had Arizona down two with 7:46 remaining.
Brooks made a free-throw and Jackson-Cartwright nailed a three. Benjamin then made a bucket and was fouled on a three, making all of them.
Brooks proceeded to hit a three to put Oregon up eight and force an Arizona timeout with a little over four minutes remaining.
Anderson scored and made two free-throws, but Oregon got it right back with a bucket from Brooks and two free-throws from Boucher, as that was all the Ducks needed.
