Arizona turned the ball over 20 times and shot 32 percent in the second half, but was able to defeat Washington 77-72 on the road Saturday afternoon.
Andrew Andrews and Marquese Chriss score to start the game and Ryan Anderson puts Arizona on the board.
Dejounte Murray then made two consecutive threes of turnovers before two free-throws from Anderson cut the lead to 10-4.
Chriss scored on a dunk and Kaleb Tarczewski responded with a three-point play. Matisse Thybulle proceeded to get a bucket and Anderson scored on the offensive glass as Washington led 14-9 at the media timeout.
Thybulle made two free-throws and Dusan Ristic scored. Chriss then got another basket and Malik Dime added two free-throws.
Gabe York and Ristic scored, but a basket by Murray put the Huskies up 22-15 with 11:43 left in the first half.
Ristic made two free-throws and Anderson added a three-point play. David Crisp then scored, but York got in the lane for a bucket.
Allonzo Trier got a dunk off a turnover and made a three soon after. A bucket by Mark Tollefsen proceeded to give Arizona a 29-24 lead with 7:39 remaining in the first half.
Andrews made one free-throw and Anderson matched him. Chriss then made a three, but Anderson scored in the paint.
Andrews hit another free-throw and Chriss made a jumper. Andrews proceeded to make two free-throws and Tollefsen scored to put the Wildcats up 34-33 with under four minutes left in the half.
Dime scored and Parker Jackson-Cartwright made two free-throws. Chriss hit two of his own and Murray hit one as well.
Tarczewski proceeded to score and York added two consecutive threes to put the Wildcats up 44-38 at the half.
Thybulle scored off a turnover and Andrews hit a three off another one. York then nailed a floater to put Arizona up three early in the half.
Dime scored and Chriss got a dunk on the offensive glass. Thybulle then got a dunk off a turnover and Miller called timeout with the Huskies up 49-46 with 16 minutes remaining.
Dime scored again and Allen soon answered. York hit a three before Ristic made one of two free-throws and got a bucket to give Arizona a 54-51 lead with 11:48 left.
Tollefsen and Andrews exchanged baskets before Andrews made a three. Ristic then got a dunk, but Chriss made a free-throw. Anderson and Thybulle proceeded to exchanged buckets.
Trier made two free-throws and Anderson did as well. Thybulle then made a free-throw, but Anderson scored.
Andrews hit one of two from the line and Murray scored. Andrews then hit a three to tie the game at 66 with 3:54 left.
Jackson-Cartwright made a free-throw and Chriss got a basket. York then made a three, but Dime hit two free-throws.
Anderson also made two from the line and Allen made a three with the shot clock expiring. Andrews proceeded to make two free-throws as Arizona led 75-72 with 31 seconds left.
Anderson would later add two free-throws to seal the deal.
