Arizona Running Back Priority List

WildcatAuthority.com takes a look at who Arizona is recruiting at running back and more.

Arizona already has one running back commit and will likely try to take one more in this class:

Tilford is listed as an athlete because of his ability to play linebacker, but Arizona will absolutely play him on offense to begin. “He's a powerful, downhill runner who is equally comfortable running between the tackles and running through defenders as he is bouncing it outside and running away from a linebacker or safety,” Scout.com’s Greg Biggins writes.

“He has a nice burst to him, is more fluid than given credit for and shows nice top end speed as well.”

Tilford is solid with Arizona and we would be surprise if that did not remain the case, as he has a strong relationship with the coaching staff.

Beasley received an offer on Wednesday night and it's about time. Numerous schools want to see Beasley in action more before offering and the four-star back is being patient. UCLA and Colorado have offered and Beasley has already been on campus. As of now, we have reason to believe the Wildcats are in pretty good shape.

Arizona would like to see Ali-Walsh come in due in large part to his speed. California offered recently and the Golden Bears are in line for an unofficial visit at some point this summer. Ali-Walsh doesn’t say a lot about his recruitment, but Arizona continues to recruit him with Cal and Louisville being the biggest competition.

It could be difficult to get Felix out of SEC country, but the Wildcats will try. Arizona recently visited Felix at his school and the three-star back has added offers from Auburn, Miami, West Virginia, and others. Miami is considered the leader in his recruitment with West Virginia right there as well. As of now, Felix is in no rush to make a decision, so Arizona will work to get him on campus this summer.

Arizona continues to look for skill players in Florida and Davis is another example. He has offers from schools such as Miami, West Virginia, and plenty of others. Arizona has done fine up until this point, but Davis remains open and there is a good possibility he will get more offers this summer. At one point Boston College was considered to be the leader and that may still be the case, but he has gotten some major offers since then.

Ahmed is going to have a long list of schools to chose from and Arizona is hoping it can get him on a visit. Washington and USC are near the top of the list, but Ahmed is going to take visits during the summer and proceed from there. He is listed as an athlete and has the ability to play multiple positions, but the Arizona coaching staff has made it clear it feels Ahmed fits in best at running back.
